From the western suburbs of Melbourne, I grew up absorbing stories and memories as told through the lens of a slide projector. My grandma's vivid narrations and the shared joy of reliving moments as a family instilled in me an appreciation for the power of photography. This passion, coupled with my inherent creativity as a musician, led me to transition from a hobbyist to a professional photographer.

Though I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychological Science from Swinburne and a Masters in Teaching from Curtin University, my heart has always resonated with the rhythm of shutter clicks. Founded in 2020, Chris Walter Photography is a reflection of this passion.

Specializing in bespoke wedding photography and vibrant family/newborn shoots, I prioritise people above everything else. Every photo session is a unique story waiting to be told. I believe in capturing raw emotions over staged moments, and this authenticity is evident in every snapshot.
